1991 was off to Kapkick Lake. We took Rodney and his son, along with Jewel and Andy. It was the year of the 5 minute speed fishing contest. Rules were, lead boat picks a spot, everybody else follows. Fishing starts when lead boat motor stops. Five minutes, fish must be over the boat to be counted. After 5 minutes the horn sounds, boat with largest count becomes lead boat and gets one point. Repeat until dark. Scores were usually like 6 to 5.

Then speed trolling at jackpot lake. All very productive. The last day ended with bread football.
