Poor old Norman. We usually don't keep fish to bring home. Most of what we do is catch and release. Kate and Jewel caught this good size Northern named Norman. Norman was an old fish. He showed many scars from years of fighting with other northers in the lake. Well, Norman was in such poor health that when they brought him up to the boat he went belly up. So we took him back to the dock and tried to revive him. He was doing better as the week went on. Kate and Jewel would go down to to the dock each morning and take him for a walk around the dock. Well on Friday morning he was belly up and could not be revived, so we had to had to give him a proper funeral with a reading from the Book of Pike. The toothless wonder has been mounted on Jewel's wall since then.
