Don't let the nice weather in this photo fool you. We went to bertrand because the fishing was supposed to be so good. It was late June, on the first morning we woke up to 4 inches of snow and 28 degree temperatures with a herd of carribou in back of the cabin. We built a fire in the cabin stove and played cards for a week. BJ ventured out at mid-week and caught a few perch or we would have perished.
